EAGALA International Conference - Darcie, Krissy, Jamie and Micah will be headed to Layton, Utah, to present and participate in this year's EAGALA Conference! Darcie & Krissy will be presenting the work we do here at Fresh Steps EAP, and help others develop activities based on what we have learned. We look forward to sharing our new information with all of you when we return! March 3 - 6, 2010.
Volunteers - We will be announcing the next volunteer training when we get at least 6-8 new folks interested in working as a Therapeutic Riding Aide. Please contact us right away if you are interested! Next Volunteer training: LATE MARCH, 2010
EVERYONE: Fresh Steps is now offering Equine Assisted Learning Workshops on weekends! Each workshop must have at least 6 people in order to be held. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
Our workshops are fun and are designed to build skills to help in specific areas of your life. There are no dates set for this group at this time, but if there is enough interest, we would be happy to set up a date!
The goals for the Group are:
How to prioritize activities while keeping important people and their needs in mind
Gain insight and understanding of how your actions, hopes and dreams impact your life
The importance of choosing happiness over resentment
Overcoming fear of failure and rejection, and have confidence
These goals will be met by specific activities designed to give you the chance to find out what is important to you, and to experience positive change, rather than just talk about it.
The cost is just $125 per person for 6 hours of fun and learning! A small price for starting your life anew with clear goals, and the confidence to achieve them! Space is limited, and is on a first-come first-served basis. You MUST register to participate!
